Absolutely!
Covid-19 is considered just like any other pre-existing medical condition, meaning that it must have been “stable and controlled” (see the definition in the policy) for 3 or 6 months prior to your departure to be covered while on your trip.
However, should an advisory pertaining to Covid-19 be issued for your destination, the condition could be excluded from your coverage. When adding the rider to your travel medical insurance, you will be covered up to $5,000,000, regardless of advisories (pertaining to the Covid-19) that could be issued before or after your departure.
*Coverage is subject to the other conditions and limitations of the policy.
