Tourmed’s emergency medical assistance is available 24/7 to coordinate care with the local health care facility. Emergency assistance must be contacted before seeking medical care (except in a 911 emergency, in which case it can be contacted as soon as possible).

Yes. Tourmed’s coverage may be suitable for extended stays in Europe, depending on the policy terms and eligibility requirements, just as it is for stays in the southern United States.
The 8-, 15-, and 30-day plans are available up to age 90. The 60-day plan is available up to age 85.
The per-trip plan covers one extended stay with a maximum duration ranging from 183 to 212 days, depending on your province of residence, and is ideal for a single winter getaway. The annual multi-trip plan covers multiple trips of 8 to 60 days throughout the year and is available to travellers up to age 90.
A Canadian traveller aged 55 or older who leaves the country for a stay of 31 nights or more, typically in the southern United States or, increasingly, in Europe.
