Travel insurance premiums of &#8220;non-medical&#8221; protections, such as trip cancellation and interruption insurance, or baggage insurance, are not tax deductible however.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Get your documents from the Tour+Med Client Portal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To calculate this in your medical expenses, you must have proper documentation. At Tour+Med, we stopped providing a document entitled &#8220;tax receipt&#8221; since it was an additional page in an already voluminous document, but mostly because all the necessary information can be found on page 1 of your <em>Travel Insurance Confirmation<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What if your policy was modified after purchase?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By experience, we know a travel insurance policy can be modified many times, due to a change in your medication or to your trip dates, for example. The premium you finally paid could differ from the one presented on your <em>Travel Insurance Confirmation<\/em>. If that&#8217;s your case, you&#8217;re invited to use the Client Portal to download the receipt showing the official premium paid for your policy, after modifications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to get it:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Connect to the <a href=\"https:\/\/client.tourmed.ca\/Login\/Login?_gl=1*3if3hb*_ga*OTgyNDM4MzY5LjE2NzQ4NDkxNjM.*_ga_C9MGJ87D5J*MTY4MzIyMDY3Ny45NC4xLjE2ODMyMjMyMjYuMC4wLjA.&amp;_ga=2.266519694.1429671288.1682945638-982438369.1674849163\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">client portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>RECEIPTS<\/strong> on the home page.<\/li>\n<li>Select the applicable policy number from the dropdown menu to see the receipt.
