I must provide a negative test result to COVID-19, made within a certain time frame before my return. Does my policy cover the costs of this test?

No, since your policy does not cover elective and non-urgent treatments. It is also your responsibility to find a clinic or establishment that will provide the results within the requested delay.

However, if you test positive to COVID-19, costs for your test could be reimbursed (if you purchased the COVID-19 Rider) and the additional benefits of the rider could become applicable, in order to help you pay for the expenses that will result from your quarantine at destination. Benefits are in the form of a refund after your return. If you test positive, you must contact Emergency Assistance immediately.
